RD, PRO 12 visits WIA and KIA PNP personnel on Magpet Roadside Bombing

PRO 12 General Santos City- On Tuesday January 29, 2019 PCSUPT ELISEO TAM RASCO, RD, PRO 12 visited and checked the condition of the personnel of Cotabato Provincial Mobile Force Company (CPMFC) who were caught in the recent roadside bombing incident believed to be perpetrated by members of the New People’s Army (NPA).

PCSUPT RASCO together with PSSUPT Maximo C Layugan, PD and other Officers of PRO 12 visited PO1 Vince Mark Capilitan and PO1 Estepenson Pareño to see their condition in a separate hospital in Kidapawan City. RD had a conversation with both personnel and at the same time awarded them with the Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting with cash assistance as a token of full support from PNP PRO 12 in recognition of their bravery displayed during the attack of the NPA.

Few moments later, RD and Company proceeded to CPMFC Headquarters this time to pay a visit and award the same medal to other nine (9) outpatient personnel of CPMFC who were also caught in the said roadside bombing and gunfight.

RD in his guidance during his visit in CPPO commended the wounded personnel for their diligence and hard work and likewise imparted some advice to each and every one present to be more careful in performing their day to day sworn duty that is to serve and protect lives and properties.

“We should work harder and smarter. Dapat tayo ang mas matalino kay sa kalaban natin” RD Rasco said.

Moreover, RD directed the Provincial Director and the DRDO to conduct an immediate investigation on the incident to check for deficiencies and come up with a good recommendation on how to effectively prevent the recurrence of the same incident in the future base on the prevalent problem/situation usually encountered by PNP personnel in North Cotabato. He likewise directed CPPO to immediately file a case against the whole NPA guerilla front identified operating in their AOR and put them behind bars or neutralize them by all means to give justice to the wounded and killed PNP personnel.

RD also visited the wake of the late PO1 Christopher Anadon at Digos City who were wounded and later declared dead by the attending physician after few hours of medical treatment at the hospital.

RD comforted the bereaved family of the late PO1 Anadon and thanked them for the exemplary service rendered by their son and likewise handed them his award with cash assistance reassuring them that PRO 12 will use all available might to bring all the responsible NPA members behind bars.
