Police Regional Office 12 – A luncheon meeting with the PNP PRO-12 Regional Director PBGEN MICHAEL JOHN F DUBRIA, in partnership with Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Regional Head Ms. Cathy T Apelacio, together with all the media outfit and representatives in SOCCSKSARGEN commenced on July 23, 2020, Thursday at Mt Sabrina Hotel and Resort.

Invited as guest during the KAPIHAN are the media coming from the different areas of SOCCSKSARGEN, wherein they were given a chance to ask the Regional Director all the question and concerns they want to raise.

Before the open forum a ceremonial turn-over of all newly procured firearms together with all seized and surrendered firearms coming from different PPO’s and CPO’s was conducted, with a total of 301 seized and surrendered firearms were turned-over to PBGEN DUBRIA.

After the ceremonial turn-over, the Regional Director presented the accomplishments of the PRO-12 from different law enforcement operations, the actions taken of PRO-12 during the time of pandemic, result of internal cleansing programs such as BMI and No-Take Policy, and the decrease of crime rate in SOX for the past semester.

During the open forum, some of the most significant questions asked are the issues about shooting incidents, Anti-terror act, the plan of the PNP PRO 12 in the atrocities done by the CPP-NPA, and the programs for the surrenderers,

The Regional director said that all the accomplishment were a fruit of intensified campaign of PRO 12 against all forms of criminality.

“This is through our persistence to win every day challenges posed by threats of terrorism, illegal drugs, and other forms of criminality.” PBGEN MICHAEL JOHN F DUBRIA said.

He then expressed his appreciation to the media for its support to Police Regional Office 12 through accurate and timely news for the people.

The program concluded as the Regional Director joining the media personnel eat their lunch.

In the event, the standard health protocol was strictly imposed by the regional director such as wearing face mask, and observance of social distancing.
